Varied Schedule

We invite you to join our Temecula Advanced Imaging Center at our RadNet Temecula Valley Advanced Imaging Site located in Murrieta California , as a ROCC Technical Assistant. This part-time position will have a varied schedule and varied weekends if needed.

Our centers are multi-modality and provide a wide variety of diagnostic imaging services to patients in a friendly and comfortable environment.

As an ROCC Tech Assistant, you will have the opportunity to:

• Take accurate patient medical history with MRI safety and record information into patients' medical chart and/or electronic medical records system; for patient flow and accurate encounter documentation.

• Accurately maintains and records patient communication during exams.

• Stocks and maintain all supply levels for assigned area; order and restock following site guidelines / protocols.

• Support technologists with procedures as needed; which includes the set-up of coils, schedule maintenance, and/or clean-up of MRI suite and other duties as assigned.

• Greets patients with courtesy and respect; introduces self; describes procedures; puts patients at ease.

• May administer oral contrast to patients and provides instructions as needed under direction of technologist.

• Comply with all HIPAA guidelines, confidently guidelines, and safety guidelines for a laboratory / clinical environment. Ensures appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and exercise universal precautions when dealing with all patients and exams.

• Maintain a clean, safe and compliant MRI control room space. Decontaminate equipment, coils, and exam / control room using the designated products and procedures.

• Assists with lifting and transferring physically challenged patients to and from exam tables

• May remove and properly dispose of IV catheters, bandages and puncture site.

• Provides any discharge instructions in conjunction with the MRI Steering Technologist.

• Communicates effectively with the MRI Steering Technologist.
