Essential Functions:

  • Contributing to a designated project or initiative to meet a KP business objective.

  • Report development and analytics.

  • Project management - planning, execution, and measurement.

  • Learning new applications needed to complete assignments or support the execution of business objectives.

  • Job shadowing in other functional areas.

  • Performing additional duties as required.

Department Profile:

National Benefits Administration is responsible for operational reporting, visualizations, automation, and metrics.

Internship Project:

Introduction of robotic process automation to currently manual testing processes. Other opportunities include other automation projects as well as visualization work.

Desired Skill set:

Excellent technical skills with Windows PCs including Microsoft Office365; some experience with RPA; some experience with SAS and/or Tableau

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree or have graduated from an accredited university within the last year.

  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

License, Certification, Registration

Additional Requirements:

  • Aptitude to perform data and process analytics and formulating solutions

  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3.0 GPA or above.

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proven ability to build effective working relationships as well as strong interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to learn quickly and experience producing high quality work in short periods of time.

The Systems Support and Automation Team handles infrastructure and operations work. The team also develops tools to help with the day-to-day job and creates automation scripts to help test thousands of scenarios. These ensure we meet not only the deadline for benefits to go live but also the quality of benefits resulting to better member experience. normal> Internship Project: * ROC Validation Automation - Participate in process walk-throughs, document workflows and requirements, write and publish minutes and action items, help develop macros/tools for data clean up. * CA VOB Test Execution - Assist in running CA test scenarios * Server Access Tracking Database - Design front-end application to help track user access as well as a portal to request access to BA systems, i.e. H drive, PlanBOReportTool, SQL databases. * Create back-end tables to support the application, if intern has the skill set. * Systems Support and Automation Team Documentation - assist with documenting SSA-s operations.
