TITLE: RN(Registered Nurse), Emergency Department weekends only
LOCATION: East of Columbus, Ohio

If so, an opportunity to work with an integrated health care system based in east central Ohio is looking for someone to join their team.
The system is a not-for-profit and has over 300 physicians and multiple outpatient care centers throughout the area.
The system is the largest provider in a six county region and a primary referral center.
It offers a higher level of service than what is typically found in a community of its size including open-heart surgery, trauma care, a Level II neonatal intermediate care unit, neurosurgery and
comprehensive cancer services.
Plans, provides and/or supervises the nursing care of patients in an efficient and caring manner of the Emergency Department.
Provides nursing care of patients in an efficient and caring manner.
Is able to closely monitor, interpret and implement care of the critical ill patients.
Provides safe and efficient movement of critically ill or injured patients between facilities.
Coordinates care planning with other caregivers both internally and externally.
Adheres to universal precautions, and is compliant with infection control policies.
Works independently with minimal supervision.
Bachelors degree and RN Degree in Ohio required.
Two years of experience in critical care or emergency department required.
Demonstrates and maintains necessary training: PALS, TNCC, BCA, ACLS, NRP, EVOC, and ENPC.
CPR certification, or obtain within 30 days of employment.
Ability to read, write and explain or describe moderately complex information to other hospital staff.
Unique weekend position of 2-12hr shifts in the Emergency Department.
Person will work 5 of 6 weekends of a 6 week schedule.
The schedule can be any shift during the schedule based on need, so could be 5p or 7p (which would be Friday night and Saturday night) or 7a, 11a, 1p, 3p (Saturday and Sunday).
They do try to keep the entire 6 week schedule the same shift (would not do 7a one weekend and 7p the next), but could vary slightly based on staffing needs (may vary between 1p and 3p on the same schedule).
The person can request the 2 days that they do not want to work (can be an entire weekend or split the days over the 6 weeks).
They can also request 1 additional weekend off per year of their choosing.

This position offers a flat rate of $45hr and since it is considered a part time on call position no benefits are offered.
