The Wound/Ostomy Clinical Nurse Educator is responsible for development, coordination, and monitoring of the hospital's Wound/Ostomy Program. The Wound/Ostomy Nurse establishes standards of care and clinical competencies to meet patient needs, and staff training to ensure clinical expertise. The Wound/Ostomy Nurse works collaboratively with the medical staff, and provides education to patients, caregivers, and staff on wound, ostomy, and continence care.
