About the team:
This registered nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care of patients in collaboration with the physician(s), NP or PA. Seeks appropriate assistance and uses clinic resources to enhance clinical decision making. Prepares patients for examinations. Obtains health history information, takes accurate vital signs, and reviews medications. Documents plan of care. Administers treatments and performs diagnostic testing as ordered by the physician. Administers injections and medications. Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-orientated environment.
Required Education and Experience:
Required Licenses, Certifications and/or Registration:
Current and unrestricted RN license.
Current BLS certification required.
Job Specific Duties:
Assists provider in all aspects of medical care, treatments and procedures, diagnostic and laboratory testing following established policies, procedures, and regulations.
Triage for appropriate level of care.
Assists in emergency nursing procedures necessary for prompt control of changes in patient's physical condition.
Providers support to orientation and training of staff and students.
Special projects and other related duties as assigned.
This is a union position, compensation range is $35.95 to $50.17, depending on experience.
