Registered Nurse (RN) PRN Position in the Progressive Care Unit at Northwest Health

• Porter Hospital

• PRN: minimum 36 hours in a 6 week period (more may be required)
• Required to work as needed - nights or days

About this unit:

• 30 bed unit, 5:1 patient to nurse ratio.

• This unit is a great starting point for RNs interested in specializing in an ICU or Trauma area

This is a fast paced area that acts as critical care step-down from ICU, which includes cardiac and neuro patients, as well as patients at an acuity too high for med/surg

Education:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) required, BSN preferred.

Licensure & Certification:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Indiana.
• BLS certification must be maintained while in this position
• ACLS certification within 12 months of being hired
