RN Supervisor - Transitional Care

The Shift Supervisor assists the Director of Nuring in the coordination of the team to deliver resident care in a compassionate and ethical manner according to recognized standards and the resident care model on assigned shift. The Shift Supervisor works closely with the Leadership team in maintaining the operations of the facility during assigned shift. Fosters change and teamwork within the facility.

Providence Transitional Care Center has a total of 52 beds with a good mix of acute stay residents vs. Long Term Care. This unit is about stability and the work is fun and challenging. It has 12-18 Medicare beds.

Required qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

• Associate's Degree in Nursing\

• Upon hire: Alaska Registered Nurse License

• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

• 1 year experience clinical staff nurse

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

• Upon hire: American Nurses Association Certification in Gerontological Nursing

• Experience as a Shift Supervisor, or Charge Nurse in Acute or Long-Term Care
