Jerome Home is a 120 bed Long Term Care Facility in New Britain, CT. Established under the will executed by Augustus Jerome, Jerome Home is a 5 star, privately-owned, not-for-profit organization. We are a progressive, nursing community with a highly competent and caring staff. Established in 1932, our multi levels include; 26 units on RCH, 1 - 32 & 1 -30 bed neighborhoods on SNF, and 1 - 32 bed Sub Acute. Also on our campus is Arbor Rose, a 82 apartment Assisted Living Facility.

We are expanding our Nursing Supervisor position. This will improve response and communication to the neighborhoods to ensure the care and safety of our residents and staff. We are looking to fill a 24 hour position 11pm-7am

The RN Nursing Supervisor works with an excellent team of Charge Nurses and CNA's. All Charge Nurses are IV certified. Our Charge Nurse staff consists of 1 nurse on the SNF's and 2 nurses on the Sub Acute neighborhood. All SNF's have a 7:1 CNA to resident ratio to show take pride in our patient- centered care as our residents always come first.

We have several on-line programs currently being used by our staff:

• Matrix is used as our EMR.

• Shifthound is our on-line scheduling program. At the click of a button, you can request time off or request to pick up a shift. You can also send email/text notification to request coverage of an open shift.

• Relias is our on-line education program. Classes are assigned via email for you to complete in the allotted time at your own pace.

• Paylocity is our online payroll program. We are Direct Deposit

The successful candidate will:

• possess a current, unencumbered, active license as an RN in CT;

• be IV certified;

• possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action;

• have the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.

• In addition, you will leadership ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel; have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents; and be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition.
