PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION Seeking an individual to apply strategic platform and subject matter expertise skills to drive successful technology solution optimization for integrations across Exelon, supporting EWS, Utilities, Generation and Commercial organizations. The mission of the Integration Solutions Architect is to lead and guide the platform strategy as a change agent to ensure optimized utilization of the current integration roadmap, maintain the roadmap and continuous refinement of the future state solution. The architect will take a pragmatic approach utilizing the integration roadmap, as/is and to/be application inventory, system architecture diagrams, current and multi-year technology organization budgets, SLAs between the technology organization and internal customers, key performance indicators, lifecycle analysis, emerging business needs, and market technology trends to define practical steps to move the organization towards the integration future state. The architect works closely with portfolio owners, other architects and engineers, business owners and key partner stakeholders to create and execute integration platform planning and strategy development. The architect performs analysis of data, functionality, technology, operations, configurations, current policies and processes to discover and report any process improvements, new approaches, or new enterprise system options to increase efficiencies and maximize the value the product creates. This position is responsible for integration platform strategy, integration platform roadmap and keep abreast of industry solutions to advance the integration strategy roadmap. Initially the architect will work closely with the Apollo project, architecting, and overseeing the design for the integration solutions. The architect will utilize the integration roadmap for the project solution. PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Provide strategic thinking, solutions, and technical/vendor roadmaps while driving architectural guidance. Improve organizational outcomes by recommendation of solutions to lower costs and increase strategic and tactical agility. Identify and translate system requirements into prescribed integration architecture and design that meet business requirements and are aligned to Exelon architecture standards and principles. Work with project teams to ensure that these designs are properly executed/implemented, leveraging industry standards as applicable. Ensure integration architecture adherence through blueprint and design reviews and by conducting reviews through the development cycle as well as documenting current state and future state for integration platform strategy and architectural diagrams. Conducting reviews and producing integration quality metrics Performing operational analysis and efficiency consulting Expert-level knowledge and experience applying current and emerging technology integration solutions (leveraging Apigee and Boomi platform) and trends including security and regulatory industry requirements Conducting business process mapping and formulating functional specifications, optimizations and roadmap. Making recommendations for automating business processes to increase productivity, reduce costs, and continuously improve. Collaborating with other architects on infrastructure configuration and strategy Expert innovator with the ability to think beyond established standards and processes.
