Wekiva Springs Center is seeking a dynamic and talented RN Shift Supervisor Weekends 6a to 6p to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. Purpose: To provide direction to Registered Nurses and Mental Health Associates regarding the care and treatment of adults and geriatric patients with psychiatric and substance abuse conditions, and is responsible for using the Nursing process to effectively manage the Plan of Care for each patient based on appropriate standards, policies and procedures. Management of each patient also includes appropriately and effectively delegating patient care duties to other members of the nursing team in order to assure optimal patient outcomes. To ensure the Hospital's policies and practices are being administered within the Hospital. The RN Shift Supervisor is also responsible for continuing his/her own professional development to enhance practice and the profession of Nursing. Actively participates as a member of the multi-disciplinary team of the unit and performs duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have the following:

License:

  • Must have an Active and Valid Registered Nurse in the State of Florida

Working Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years Regstered Nurse experience and at least 1 year experience with Older Adults or Behavioral Health patients.

  • Prefer some experience as a Supervisor or Manager

Certification:

BLS Certification
