Job Responsibilities

FT- 72 hours per pay period; every other weekend and holiday; Schedule is 12 hour Dayshift on the weekend, and 3- 8 hour evening shifts on during the week. Every Friday off.

Who we are: Luther Manor is located near the campuses of Sanford and Augustana University. Here our caring employees provide professional, around-the-clock rehabilitation/skilled care at their 91-bed facility.

To help meet the growing demand for long-term care, Good Samaritan Society Luther Manor provides the following services: long-term nursing care, inpatient rehabilitation therapy, and outpatient therapy.Good Samaritan Society Luther Manor has been recognized as a 2017 recipient of the Bronze Commitment to Quality Award for its dedication to improving the lives of residents through quality care. Easy Apply Process Mobile Device Friendly Your contribution to the team: Play a crucial role in leading care for our residents with excellent clinical and leadership skills and will manage multiple resident and employee responsibilities simultaneously.

Promote a positive living experience for residents by maintaining privacy and meeting medical requirements as determined by their physician, as well as observing and documenting resident care each day.Administer medication, maintain appropriate health records and assist with resident care plans.Work with families and leadership to understand daily care and medication needs.You're a good fit if: Graduate or upcoming graduate of an accredited school of nursing as a Registered Nurse.Licensure for state of practice is required. Maintains required certification / qualifications and associated standards.You bring a smile to work every day

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Prior work experience in like or related position preferred.

Maintains required certification / qualifications and associated standards. Licensure for state of practice is required.

Knowledge of basic nursing skills; knowledge and familiarity with the therapeutic effects and side effects of all medications administered.
