The Senior Improvement Specialist will lead and manage operational improvement projects throughout the organization including both clinical and non-clinical areas to accomplish measurable business process improvements which includes:
Implementing and supporting plans, to realize the organizations operational goals & objectives
Developing strategies for training and education
Development and operation of all improvement processes & procedures, while partnering with process owners and staff
Identifying and utilizing applicable benchmark information to assist the development of operational improvement plans.
Collecting and analyzing process and quality data to initiate, develop, and recommend operational practices and procedures that focus on enhanced safety, increased productivity, and reduced cost. Facilitates and leads large cross-functional project initiatives for assigned areas of responsibility
Supporting the operational leadership to ensure that services are provided in accordance with State and Federal regulations, organizational policies and procedures, medical staff bylaws and accreditation/compliance requirements.
Demonstrated experience/knowledge working with Inpatient Quality Data
