We are searching for a talented RN-Risk Manager

Hours: 40hrs

Shift: Day shift; 8:00am

• 4:00pm

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital

• Fall River, MA

• ONSITE/ In- Person Position*

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Director of Risk Management of Southcoast Health System, responsible for implementing a comprehensive and proactive clinical risk management program applicable to all clinical areas, including designated hospital and ambulatory site(s) within the system. This involves a wide variety of duties designed to support the captive self insurance program, minimize financial losses to the institution, enhance the quality of patient care, and improve the safety of patients, visitors and employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration required.

• RN Registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required.

• Experience in Health Care Risk Management with knowledge of legal and insurance concepts preferred.

• Ability to successfully interact with patients, families, physicians and hospital personnel in difficult and stressful situations.

• Excellent written and communication skills.

• Ability to problem solve and promote sound and recognized risk management theories.

• Ability to work independently and take the initiative to address various issues, and to prioritize workload.

• Competent computer skills required. Minimum seven years experience as a Registered Nurse required; three years risk management experience preferred.

Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Pay Range

USD $97,864.00 - USD $179,400.00 /Yr.
