We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) who is passionate about making a difference for our Bellingham Community!

Position Pay: $42.00 - $45.00 per hour

Shift Schedule(s): PM Shift

The non-negotiables:

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License required

• Experience working as a licensed nurse in a senior care or long-term care setting with residents with Alzheimer's disease, dementia or other memory impairments preferred

• Ability to train staff in first aid and CPR desirable

• Knowledge of or willingness to learn state and federal regulations governing nursing care

• Strong oral and written communication abilities

• One year of experience supervising others to include: setting performance expectations, coaching, motivating, promoting collaboration and teamwork, promoting company culture, managing change, providing performance feedback, delegating effectively, resolving conflicts, etc

• Must have valid driver's license, good driving record, and current auto insurance

• Excellent organization skills required

• Must be comfortable working in an environment with pets and assisting in the care of community pets, including, but not limited to, dogs, cats, and birds

• Willing to demonstrate passion and ability to work with people with Alzheimer's disease and other dementia- related disease

What you'll be doing:

• The RN Charge Nurse will have direct supervisory responsibilities for Medication Aides, Certified Nursing Assistants and Caregivers overseeing the care provided to residents at a Silverado Community

• Act as liaison and maintain positive relations with residents, families, and physicians

• Enhance the lives of older adults by assisting them with mobility needs, daily living activities, including, bathing, grooming, and routine personal tasks
