Additional Information about our PACU:

  • 4 Suites

  • Level II Trauma Center

  • On average 75 PACU cases are seen on a weekly basis

  • Nurses are responsible for working in a team work environment

  • A supportive culture focused on fostering educational opportunities and specialty certification

  • Leaders on this unit have a passion for supporting nurses in reaching their professional goals, excellent practice, and collegial relationships

EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:

Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program (required)

BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program at an accredited school of Nursing (preferred)

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

Current Registered Nurse License in this state (required)

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider (required)

EXPERIENCE:

Two years Medical /Surgical Nursing or one year Medical/Surgical Nursing and one year Critical Care Nursing. (Required)

One to two years PACU experience. (Preferred)
