We Are Hiring:

2 years recent ICU experience - will float to different hospitals in the Austin/Round Rock metro area

Preferred experience in multi-specialties within Critical Care (Neuro, Medical, Surgical)

AHA BLS and ACLS Healthcare Provider required on interview

  • 36 hours per week

Every other weekend, preferred

2 major, 3 minor holidays

What You Will Do:

Provide direct nursing care in a diverse healthcare environment in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.

  • Implement and monitor patient care plans.

  • Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.

  • Serve as a coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.

  • Assess and coordinate patient's care needs with members of the healthcare team.

What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.

  • Advanced Life Support preferred.

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.

Using the nursing process, the RN assesses the patient, identifies nursing diagnoses based on responses to health problems, develops and implements an individualized plan of care, and evaluates the patient's response. The RN promotes safe passage for their patients by using knowledge of patient needs and the healthcare environment to assist patients to transition through the healthcare encounter without any preventable complications or delays. The RN delegates interventions to health care personnel based on the Texas Nursing Practice Act, each patient's condition and the competencies of the employee. * ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE* Clinical Judgment: Using clinical reasoning, conducts accurate clinical assessments according to practice standards.
