About This Position
In keeping with the Marian Medical Center health care philosophy, the CCU /Cath Lab RN manages quality patient care through the nursing process. Coordinates plan of care with the health care team. Assumes leadership role for unit personnel to prepare and assist them with their responsibilities. Employees are responsible for completion of unit competency assessments, annual safety review, CPR, and renewal of license by maintaining continuing education units as required by hospital policy. Please note this position will have on call responsibilities.

Qualifications JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Cath Lab and/or Critical Care nursing experience required, primarily in cardiovascular nursing. REQUIRED
Angiographic experience desired.
Current California Registered Nurse license.
Current CPR certification. Current ACLS
Two (2) years min.experience in Critical Care or Cath Lab. Telemetry experience (4 years minimum with care of the pre and post cath lab patient). Must be able to take emergency call back with a 30-minute response time. Knowledge of sterile technique, radiation safety, emergency procedures, knowledge of arterial and venous circulation.
Ability to work effectively with others by demonstrating a team approach to patient care.
