RN Recovery - Mary Black PRN

We are hiring a Registered Nurse to join our Recovery Room team! PRN; 5:30am to 4:00pm or#8:30am to 7:00pm Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse demonstrates thorough knowledge of therapeutic Perioperative patient care, patient advocacy, clinical pathways/care maps, team dynamics, hospital systems, and serves as a resource for the registered nurse and support staff. Reports to their respective Perioperative Department Manager and to the Director of Perioperative Services. Collaborates with leadership in developing and implementing the Spartanburg Medical Center culture, Vision, Mission and goals. Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Experience

At least one or more year

(s) of service within a Perioperative Department field of nursing License/Registration/Certifications

Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse

(RN) licensure permitting practice in South Carolina

American Heart Association Certification as follow per Perioperative Department:

Periop Dept BLS ACLS PALS PAT X # # Pre-Operative X X X Intraoperative X X # PACU X X X ENDO X X # IR X X X # Preferred Experience

Two or more year

(s) of service within a Perioperative Department field of nursing Preferred License/Registration/Certifications

Hold a certification with the Perioperative Department field of nursing:

Periop Dept Certification Pre-Admission Testing CAPA Pre-Operative CAPA Intraoperative CNOR PACU CPAN/CAPA ENDO CGRN IR RNCB # Active member in of the Perioperative Department Nursing associates such as: AORN, ASPAN, SGNA, ARIN
