UNIT DESCRIPTION: Memorial 4 North consists of 26 private rooms, specializing in, but not limited to care of the stroke patient. Memorial 4 North is a mixed acuity unit consisting of telemetry and medical/surgical patients. The types of patients include: those with diagnosis of transient ischemic attack, cerebrovascular accident and seizures, patients requiring telemetry monitoring, patients requiring inotropic therapy for cardiac or renal disease that may be maintained and in acute situations, appropriate interventions may be initiated for stabilization with subsequent timely transfer to an intensive care unit. • Graduate of state board approved School of Nursing.
