Overview

The RN Quality assists physicians and staff to achieve concurrent compliance with core measures, quality initiative requirements and performance improvement projects. Collects, aggregates, analyzes, and reviews data for improvement opportunities.

Assists with performance improvement processes as directed. Provides just in time and formal education programs on quality measures to the organization. Performs concurrent clinical chart reviews based on quality indicators.

Works collaboratively through daily rounds with physicians, nursing, case managers and other ancillary services to facilitate care management to achieve compliance in core measures and improve quality outcomes. Tracks compliance of measures by abstracting, compiling and analyzing performace data. Presents, trends, and educates on quality measure performance to the organization.

Works with performance improvement teams to assist in planning and implementation of interventions to ensure best practices are implemented for quality measures such as AMI, Stroke, VTE, Sepsis and newly added measures as available. Manages the Sepsis program.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Current AL Nursing license

EXPERIENCE: Basic Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT-4, and DRG coding, healthcare quality initiatives ; The Joint Commission accreditation requirements and CMS regulation.

Critical thinking skills, Ability to work well independently, Microsoft office experience, Excellent communication skills required, accurancy and attention to detail required. Minimum of 5 years Clinical Exp as RN. Previous experience using CPSI.

MA embeds itself throughout the Engineering lifecycle to prevent defects from reaching the warfighter and to ensure flawless program execution to meet quality, cost, schedule and technical objectives. We have an immediate need for a Principal Software Quality Engineer for the Air Power and Strategic Missile Defense Software Assurance Section located in Woburn, MA. This Section is responsible to partner with Engineering to ensure work products are free from defects throughout the engineering lifecycle. As a Principal Software Quality Engineer, you are an important member of the Missions Assurance Quality Team. The ideal candidate will be required to come on-site either at the Woburn, MA facility or Huntsville, AL facility on a part-time basis or as business needs dictate. The Principal Software Quality Engineer will be an, individual contributors ensuring verification and validation of design, development and integration of RMD software products. Software products include artifacts related to embedded code, simulations, firmware, and other artifacts as required by contract. You will help to ensure programs meet customer objectives for Mission Assurance, working closely with other Cross Business Teams (CBTs), to affect rapid closure of issues utilizing analytical capabilities and communication skills. Responsibilities include the following: * Program Execution Support - participate in all phases of software product design and development lifecycle. The Quality Engineer will ensure all program software products have appropriate quality requirements identified, allocated and planned for. The Software Assurance Engineer will generate inputs to Software, Systems, I&T and other work products. * Product Continuous Improvement - perform independent quality evaluations/risk assessments of activities across the software product development lifecycle. The Quality Engineer will facilitate root cause analysis and corrective action planning for all software-related nonconformances. * Process Improvement - improve, streamline, and deploy quality and software engineering processes to design in quality and eliminate escapes, and will participate in, and actively lead, project activities to improve key processes. Partner with organizations within and outside of Quality and Mission Assurance to improve product quality and process effectiveness. * Knowledge and Tools Development - provide Quality personnel with knowledge and tools to improve product quality in areas such as code analysis, root cause corrective action, information assurance and development methodologies. The candidate determines and pursues courses of action to obtain the desired results. Typical work involves assuring the integrity of software, firmware, configurable logic, and modeling and simulation, across various disciplines within Engineering. Required Skills: * A minimum of ten (8) years of technical/engineering experience in a Quality environment with emphasis in software development. * Must have or be able to obtain a DoD issued Secret Security Clearance Desired Skills: * Advanced experience with Agile or DevOps software development. Emphasis on software testing, continuous integration and continuous monitoring is preferred. * Confluence and Jira expertise using Agile tools and methods * Ability to write code (SQL, Java Script, Html) and work with data visualization tools like BI and Garfana. * Ability to transform data into actions * Experience with Microsoft Windows 10 and Unix skill set. * Strong team player who is a self starter and proactive about tackling technical tasks. * Project and workload management skills to utilize resources effectively to satisfy demanding internal customers and implementation schedules * Technical leadership of small teams * Ability to coordinate with product (Integrated Product Teams and Quality Systems Managers) and functional teams * "Customer" oriented, and driven to meet or exceed expectations * Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills * Strong team-player * Working knowledge of EVMS, CMMI, ISO9000/AS9100 and IPDS * Experience using Six Sigma practices to continuously improve software systems created using the Quality Management System requirements based on AS9100 and AS9115 * Practical experience of Guidance, Navigation, Signal Processing, Radar and Discrimination systems and associated algorithms is highly desired * Advanced degree - M.S.
