The role you'll contribute:
Under the supervision of the Senior Manager for Clinical Education, the Registered Nurse Program Manager functions to facilitate the goals and initiatives of the Clinical Education and Training team. This position assists with clinical orientation, completion of clinical competencies and assessments, and assists with all facets of the implementation of the medical assistant career ladder. The Registered Nurse Program Manager will develop, coordinate and support, implement, and evaluate strategic initiatives for AdventHealth Medical Group to improve consumer and practice outcomes while working toward meeting the organizational mission and vision.

Actively instructs/participates in clinical orientation, clinical courses, and annual competency sessions.
Works collaboratively with the interprofessional team to recruit, retain, and develop a highly effective workforce.
Provides input for development and implementation of training materials including, but not limited to, competency checklists for clinical skills, equipment to utilize for training, career ladders, and preceptor/transition to practice specific programs
Serves as a mentor and resource to all AHMG team members with emphasis on training new employees and employees identified as needing more training and provides feedback to leaders.
Schedules and coordinates meetings, classes, and event sessions for new hire orientations and other educational events.
Organize and develop an internal fast track Certified Medical Assistant training program
Organize and develop an internal training program for AHA-BLS
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications :
Associate degree in Nursing (ASN)
1 year of RN
Basic Life Support
Florida State RN License
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Bilingual/Spanish
Experience in teaching in formal and informal settings
Experience in the ambulatory health care environment
Experience as a charge nurse, preceptor, or student nurse advisor
