The RN Pre-Admission Testing will:

• Promote and maintain good interpersonal relations with Medical Staff and other allied health care personnel.

• Ensure effective communication and cooperation with departments/personnel effecting P.A.T. area.

• Leadership; works to create a climate of high morale through recognition of each individuals work needs and abilities.

• Maintain preadmission Testing Area according to the philosophy and policies of the Hospital as well as the Nursing Department.

• Be knowledgeable of and initiates emergency procedures on Admission/O.P. Registration area when required.

• Ensure that patient/significant other processed through the P.A.T. system are prepared or hospital admission.

• Participate in staff development and educational activities.

Requirements:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
• BSN preferred or must be obtained within three (3) years of hire date
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
