Coordinates total nursing care for patients. Participates in patient/family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.

Under the general direction of the Manager, the staff Nurse III independently uses the nursing process to safely, compassionately, therapeutically and efficiently provide individualized care or a group of patients for which the nurse demonstrates age specific competencies. Uses information from a variety of sources to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the results of patient care. May supervise the work and function as leader for other staff nurses, licensed vocational nurses, nursing assistants and clinical support associates.

Ability to work during weekdays, weekends, holidays, and various shift hours.


Education, including Licensure/ Certification/ Registration

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in State of California.


At least three years full-time or equivalent part-time or short-hours as Staff Nurse II with at least two years in her/his present unit.


Independently practices and prioritizes multiple demands in an ever-changing environment. Good interpersonal. Communication (both oral and written) and teamwork skills are required.

Medcor is currently looking for a Physician Assistant (PA) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to work in their employer based clinic setting in Yuba City, CA. The clinic performs primary care / occupational health. The hours for this position are Monday/Wednesday/Friday 7 AM - 4 PM and Tuesday /Thursday 9 AM - 6 PM. The PA or FNP for Medcor will provide excellent primary care/occupational health care in a work site clinic. The position's responsibilities also include collaborative work with other medical and operational leadership at Medcor, other Medcor associates, and key contacts within the client's corporate structure. The day-to- day role of the PA/NP includes close cooperation with the on-site medical staff operating in the clinic and a focus on team care across the Medcor operation for this client. The clinic will provide a broad scope of services including the diagnosis and treatment of workers compensation injuries and illnesses, urgent care, surveillance and regulatory exams, and preventative services. This position will work closely with a Medcor employed oversight physician assigned to the site, along with a Registered Nurse and a Certified Clinic Assistant. This position requires no weekend or on-call hours; however, with advanced notice, flexibility for additional hours is preferred, as requested by the client.
