Fairview Health Services is searching for enthusiastic RNs looking for a rewarding career in our Pediatric unit located at our Burnsville, Minnesota campus. This is a day/evening position, 8 shifts with every other weekend. Benefit eligible.
Fairview Ridges Pediatric staff work on a 16 bed unit that accepts pediatric patients, pediatric outpatients and overflow adult patients.
The types of patient diagnosis include, but not limited to: respiratory illness, hyperbilirubinemia, appendectomies, urinary tract infection, sepsis, gastroenteritis, dehydration. The peds staff also administers infusions for the specialty clinic as well as run the nitrous administration program for all children.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate.
Active MN RN License.
Current licensure in good standing.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare provider certification.
Six to twelve months of RN Acute Care Pediatrics experience.
PEARS or PALS certification obtained as soon as possible upon hire.
NRP certification obtained as soon as possible upon hire.
