JOB RELATIONSHIPS Supervises RNs, LPNs, NAs, UCs and other Patient Care Services Employees; responsible to Clinical Director and/or designee. DEFINITION OF POSITION The Registered Nurse is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of assigned patients. QUALIFICATIONS Professional Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina. Current ACLS certification or completion of ACLS within 6 months of employment. Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification. Other educational certifications as required for each department to which the RN is competency validated to provide patient care, should be current or obtained within the specified time frame.
