Our residents and their families enjoy the peace and assurance of knowing their family members are being taken care of by an experienced and compassionate health care team that you will lead.

Qualifications

Requirements to be a Health & Wellness Director

Are responsible for the direct supervision of community-based licensed nursing and healthcare staff in the management of resident well-being and care. Nursing Directors assess health, functional and psychosocial status of residents and proactively manage care and services while evaluating the opportunity for residents to remain in their environment.

The Health & Wellness Director of Nursing also assigns work, appraises performance while resolving any health care problems that may arise. Education as required to obtain state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN) and a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities * Generate health & safety revenue by developing new clients and markets as well as leveraging existing clients and company talent. * Set and meet sales goals. * Assist clients with their health & safety programs, including responding to enforcement actions. * Develop and oversee Health and Safety programs. * Help industrial clients meet current and anticipated regulatory requirements. * Audit health & safety compliance to support senior-level assessments of industrial operations and commercial property. * Interface with client health & safety staff, provide support to service operations, and review reporting as it relates to compliance. * Help clients systematize their health & safety compliance programs. * Oversee staff and provide hands-on support for such regulatory programs as annual reports, hazardous materials business plans, safety programs, etc. * Spearhead internal thought leadership on S&H trends and evolving requirements. Mentor junior staff on tasks described above. * Review and interpret upcoming new and revised regulations to 1) identify upcoming requirements for existing clients, and 2) identify industry trends and emerging markets. * The expectation is to be roughly 50% billable after the third month of employment. Qualifications * BS degree in safety, industrial hygiene, or science (advanced course work or graduate degree preferred) * Certification as a Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) preferred * 6+ years of professional experience in S&H consulting and/or working in S&H at a facility or plant * Business development and sales experience highly desired * Program and project management capabilities * Well-established contacts in the region * Goal-oriented, high energy leader with strategic vision and an entrepreneurial spirit.
