The Opportunity:

The Operating Room Registered Nurse position at Mass General Brigham Integrated Care presents an outstanding opportunity to join a world-class healthcare organization dedicated to delivering exceptional care and advancing community-based ambulatory care for patients, with a focus on cost reduction. As an Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients during surgical procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-operative assessments and provide patient education

• Assist the surgical team during procedures, ensuring a safe and sterile environment

• Monitor patients' vital signs and administer medications as necessary

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to determine and implement effective care plans

• Document patient information accurately and maintain thorough records

• Provide post-operative care and support to patients during their recovery

Hours:

This position is a Monday through Friday role. No on-call, no holidays, no weekends!

Qualifications

Skills

Required: Proficiency in using computers and ability to quickly gain competency in various hospital software applications. To perform this job successfully within the scope of nursing, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and be able to demonstrate any knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to age of patients serviced in his/her assigned department. Maintain current BLS certification

Experience

Required: Minimum of 3 years' Operating Room Nursing experience required. Ability to circulate and scrub

Education/Degree

Required: Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing is required with a Bachelor's Degree

Licensure, Certifications, or Registration

Required: Position requires a Valid/Current license to practice as an RN, BLS certification required
