Worcester Surgery Center is a multispecialty Surgery Center that is committed to excellence in patient care. We currently require an experienced OR RN Circulator. The ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service; have the ability to multi-task; the ability to show flexibility in assignments; maintain scrupulous infection control standards; maintains professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team. This opportunity is allows for a balance between a personal life and a professional life. This position requires weekdays only -- NO WEEKENDS, NO HOLIDAYS and NO CALL schedules. Some early evenings required. Option for 32-40 hour shifts.

Required Skills

  • Candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing and hold a current unrestricted license to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

  • Current American Heart BLS certification and experience working as a circulator required. BSN preferred.

Required Experience

  • Experience in an ASC is highly preferred.

  • Must have experience in scrubbing or circulating in the capacity of a an RN.

Rotates start times with other employees in the department. Provides on-all coverage for patient procedures during off hours for the department. Position Summary: Responsible for the planning, delivery and management of direct patient care utilizing the nursing process and adhering to the standards of nursing practice. Position Qualifications: Must have at lease one year experience with the management of complex medical equipment associated with large volumes of patient/donor extracorporeal blood volume (e.g. apheresis nurse, dialysis nurse).
