This Nurse Manager Behavioral Health will oversee the inpatient care unit, electroconvulsive therapy program, and the psychiatric emergency department.Responsibilities for the RN Nurse Manager Behavioral Health:

Assist with oversight of mental health and behavioral health services and nursing staff
Oversee the inpatient care unit, electroconvulsive therapy program, and the psychiatric emergency department.
Promote compassionate and evidence-based care for every patient
Educate, train and mentor psychiatry nursing staff
Evaluate and assess nursing staff
Deliver expert psychiatric nursing care
Maintain safety and compliance throughout behavioral health department
Act as a resource person and subject matter expert to staff and patients
Ensure regulatory compliance and implement new goals and policies
Meet all departmental, professional and technical requirements
Interview, hire, retain, and evaluate staff as needed

Requirements of the RN Nurse Manager Behavioral Health:

BSN required, MSN or Masters in related healthcare field preferred
3+ years Behavioral Health nursing experience required
1+ years leadership experience required
New Hampshire RN nursing license
Results-oriented, quality focused leader
