Bariatrics Bariatric Department is an energetic and fast paced unit where nurses work closely with surgeons and members of the Interdisciplinary team to care for patients. In addition to holding the Bariatric Certification for the hospital, this unit specializes in caring for a variety of post-surgical patients. Surgeries include General, Vascular, Urological, Colo-Rectal, Gynecological, Reconstructive, and more.
Our unit is a 32-bed unit with 4:1-5:1 patient ratios. Additional Job Details: Rotating Days/Nights Start Dates:

Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
