The G90 Urology/Medical-Surgical Telemetry Unit at Cleveland Clinic Main
Campus is a 36-bed medical-surgical telemetry unit dedicated to the care of postoperative
urology patients, as well as overflow patients from Cleveland Clinic's
Bariatric & Metabolic Institute, Cole Eye Institute, and other surgical service areas.
Our patients range in age from young adult to geriatric; however, our most
common patient population is approximately 65 years old.
Primary procedures performed on our unit, include: partial nephrectomy, radical
nephrectomy, radical prostatectomy, urolithiasis and cystectomy with
continent/incontinent urinary diversion. We also care for a small population of
ophthalmology patients having eye plaque radiation, as well as bariatric patients
having Roux-N-Y and Banding.
Our nursing caregivers follow an intricate nursing care model that is rooted in
evidence-based practice and always puts patients first. Major focuses of the
nursing care provided on G90 include: pain control, return of bowel and bladder
function, DVT prevention and ambulation. Our goal is that all caregivers provide
patients with the highest quality, safest care possible exuding the Cleveland
Clinic nursing organization's values of quality, innovation, teamwork, service,
integrity and compassion.

Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be presented upon hire.

Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
