Overview:

This innovative New Graduate RN Residency accelerates nursing competencies by providing in depth experiences, education, and support during the Nurse Residents first year. A competency-based curriculum coupled with trained preceptors and active mentorship capitalizes on ANCC Accreditation design and evidence-based practices.
Application Timeline:
Application period is open 5/6/2024 through 5/17/2024. Interviews will be held beginning May 2024.
Program Commitment:
The program consists of a clinical orientation in addition to a 12-month transition-to-practice. The program requires full-time(40-hour) employment during the length of the program (12 months from start). Any scheduled time off will necessitate approval of the hiring manager and RN Residency Coordinator.

Eligibility:
Applicants must have:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing required, within the past 12 months.
0-12 months of professional nursing (RN) experience.
An active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state they will be practicing (interim permits cannot be accepted) upon hire.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Additional certifications may be required based on populations served.
