ATTENDANCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION ARE AS FOLLOWS: Non rotating 40 hour work week. Required to work nights, weekends and holidays if scheduled. May be subject to schedule changes and work overtime as necessary to cover operational needs.

Responsibilities
Intake and release of impounded vehicles.
Inventory of impounded vehicles for damages and personal property.
Run registration, license plates and VIN for owner and lien holder information. Enter data on impounded vehicles into ILEADS (record management system).
Ensure that impounded vehicle is being released to the registered owner or the authorized representative.
Answer questions for the general public, registered owner, lien holder, salvage companies or insurance companies pertaining to impounded vehicles.
Return all missed calls.
Go out to impounded vehicles in order to release personal and/or paperwork to the registered owners in order to release vehicle.
Keep work area and equipment clean.
Calculate and generate end of shift money revenue deposit.
May be asked to perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Requires a High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of two (2) years of customer services experience
Must possess or obtain TLETS - Texas Law Enforcement Telecommunication within 90 days of hire
A valid driver's license is required. Successful out of state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire

Application review and the City may also conduct additional skill assessment tests, in addition to the panel interview.

Selected applicants must be able to pass a background investigation and a pre-employment drug test.
Any position that lists a minimum qualification for education level and/or license/certification will require the applicant to provide proof of documentation if selected for hire into the position with the City of Corpus Christi.
