Responsibilities
Our Medical/Telemetry unit has 38 beds. We have a varied medical/telemetry population of cardiac, sepsis, pneumonia, and diabetic patients.
Our RN staff provide primary care and we have an RN to patient ratio of 4-5 to 1. We are most proud of our positive staff and the support that they provide for our patients and staff.
Our Med/Tele Department Leadership team is comprised of a two Clinical Managers, and a Unit Based Educator. We offer strong teamwork to support new staff on our unit and provide residency training for new graduates and/or RN's moving into the acute care setting.

Job Summary:
As a Med/Tele nurse you will provide nursing care to all patient populations to include chest pain, COPD, CHF, Sepsis, Renal/hepatic and some post surgical. This work includes developing, implementing and assessing the patient plan of care in collaboration with physicians, interdisciplinary teams and the patient and family.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
One year of related work experience is preferred
Current State Licensure as a Registered Nurse is required
American Heart Association Basic Life Support
