1.Operating Room RN (Specialty
Shift: work 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday exclusive of holidays
Minimum last 6 months of Operating room experience from recent 3 years of nursing experience
Must have active BLS, ACSL from AHA, Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certificate from CCI
2.Emergency Department RN (Specialty
Shift: Work ten (10) or twelve (12) hours shifts or a combination with rotating weekends and holidays
Have at least three (3) years recent prior experience in an emergency department or major trauma center with no more than a six-month gap
Must have BLS, ACLS from AHA
Preferred to have the Certification of Emergency Nursing (CEN) thru BCEN. (CCRN) certifications thru AACN with ED experience will also be considered
3.Intensive Care Unit RN (Specialty
Shift: work ten (10) twelve (12) hours shifts or a combination with rotating weekends and holidays
Have completed an accredited course in Intensive Care Nursing as well certification in Moderate Sedation or equivalent. In lieu of ICU certification, candidates shall possess at least five years clinical experience in an Intensive Care Unit or other critical care environment
Three (3) years prior experience in an intensive care setting to include Critical Care experience
Must have BLS, ACLS from AHA, Moderate Sedation Certification or equivalent.
Preferred to have Acute/Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) certifications from AACN
4.Cardiac Catheterization Lab/Electrophysiology RN (Specialty
Shift: Work four 10 hour shifts 0730 -1800
Have completed an accredited course in Intensive Care/Cath Lab Nursing as well certification in Moderate Sedation or equivalent. In lieu of ICU certification, candidates shall possess at least five years clinical experience in an Intensive Care Unit or other critical care environment and must have worked within the last six months in one of the above settings
Have at least three (3) years prior experience in an intensive care setting to include Critical Care/Cath Lab experience
Required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or in related field or a Master's Degree in Nursing
Must have BLS from AHA, ACLS from AHA, Moderate Sedation Certification or equivalent. and (must have worked within the last six months).
Preferred to have the Nurses with Acute/Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) certifications through AACN
5.GI Lab Nurses RN (Specialty
Shift: Can expect to work eight (8) and or ten (10) and or twelve (12) hour shifts or a combination
Have completed an accredited course in Intensive Care/GI Lab Nursing as well certification in Moderate Sedation or equivalent. Gastroenterology certification, candidates shall possess at least five years clinical experience in an Intensive Care Unit or other critical care environment.
Have at least three (3) years prior experience in an intensive care setting to include Critical Care/GI Lab experience
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or in related field or a Master's Degree in Nursing
Must have BLS from AHA, ACLS from AHA, Moderate Sedation Certification or equivalent. and (must have worked within the last six months)

Shift: can expect to work eight (8) and or ten (10) and or twelve (12) hour shifts or a combination
Minimum 6 months of post anesthesia care experience from recent 3 years
Additional Required Qualifications:
In addition to the immunizations mentioned in section 3.1.2, the vendor will also include, at their expense, in the orientation/compliance file for each employee, the following information:
Georgia State Criminal Background Check dated within 90 days of submission, Workforce Management Consulting (WMC) performs suitability and clearance.
A physical dated within 90 days of submission of employee for contract performance.
A current American Heart Association (AHA) accredited CPR card with an expiration date beyond the last day of orientation (though it is noted that contractor personnel will be required to maintain CPR certification to perform on the contract, the initial/orientation requirement is a CPR card with an expiration date beyond the end of orientation).

Hours of Operations:
The services covered by this contract shall be furnished by the contractor as defined herein. The contractor shall be required to furnish such services on National holidays and during off-duty hours.
The following terms have the following meanings:
Workdays: A normal workday will be consistent with those of the Medical Center.
Work hours: Are those hours in which a contractor's employee is physically present at the VA Medical Center in performance of the required services. Normal work hours for Nursing services typically include:

7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.11:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. 11:30 a.m. to 12 MN
11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. 1:30 p.m. to 12 MN 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.
3:30 p.m. to 12 MN 9:30 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.7:30 p.m. to 8:00 am.
Off-duty Hours: Are those hours in which the contractor's employees are not at the VA facility or Network AVAHCS in performance of the required services.
