• Behavioral Health Services Inpatient who functions as a direct patient care giver within the unit#s care delivery system, and integrates nursing theories and solution focused therapy into patient care. Responsibilities #Provides direct total patient care for specific group of patients with collaboration as needed. #Demonstrates clinical competence in performing nursing procedures and identifies the rationale underlying the nursing skills. #Identifies patient care problems, makes interventions based upon an understanding of the biopsychosocial processes. #Assesses patient status systematically and anticipates and responds to changes in patient clinical condition. #Actively seeks participation of the patient, family, and other members of the health care team to assure continuity of patient care. #Communicates clearly in all aspects of documentation. #It is the expectation that all care providers document accurately and in real time, utilizing the electronic medical record within their department. #Employees are expected to comply with all regulatory requirements, including Joint Commission Standards. # #Is familiar with organization, department and job specific Environment of Care areas, including Life Safety, Utilities Management, Hazardous Materials Communications, Emergency Preparedness, Infection Control and Medical Equipment Failure. #Leads/Participate in patient groups. Qualifications

• Colorado RN license in good standing.
