THIS POSITION WILL FLOAT BETWEEN MARIETTA AND DUNWOODY CLINICS Position Summary At Pure Infusion Suites, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional care to our patients. As an RN Infusion Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our healthcare providers and patients through a range of tasks centered on outpatient infusion and injectable therapies.

Your expertise in patient care management, organizational skills, and effective communication will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless delivery of services. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care by administering biologics and other infusible or injectable medications as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and comfort, while meeting established volume benchmarks. Proficiently start and discontinue PIVs for infusion therapies, access and deaccess central venous lines such as ports and PICCs as needed.

Prepare medications, including mixing as required, and administer them accurately according to manufacturer instructions or provider orders. Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments to evaluate patient needs and response to treatment. Offer appropriate patient education regarding medications, treatment procedures, and potential side effects to promote understanding and adherence.

Triage patient inquiries related to infusion therapy, addressing concerns and coordinating follow-up care as necessary. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of and compliance with all policies and procedures related to job duties and patient care. Perform administrative tasks, including ordering and maintaining medication and medical supply inventory to ensure adequate stock levels for patient care.

Conduct clinical reviews on all incoming orders to ensure patient safety and compliance with treatment protocols. Collaborate with prescriber offices to maintain positive communication and relationships, facilitating the exchange of patient information and treatment plans. Work closely with ancillary departments to streamline processes related to patient services.

Other duties as assigned. Required Knowledge And Skills Possess a minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, with infusion experience preferred. Demonstrate strong nursing assessment skills, with the ability to conduct thorough patient evaluations and patient education.

Excel in drug dose calculations, ensuring accurate medication administration and patient safety. Demonstrates the ability to confidently and effectively manage hypersensitivity reactions swiftly using appropriate interventions per protocol. Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills, effectively engaging with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

Display proficiency in collaboration and teamwork, contributing positively to a team. Show dedication to delivering exceptional customer service and patient-centered care, prioritizing patient needs and preferences. Embraces a growth mindset by adapting seamlessly to a quickly evolving organization, demonstrating a proactive approach to change and a commitment to finding innovative solutions.

Knowledge and ability to treat and care for patients 12 and older. Education/Licensure/Technical Requirements RN Degree, BSN Preferred Current nursing license for applicable state BLS Certification required within 30 days of hire Ability to meet U.S. employment and eligibility requirements
