Interviews and observes patients in order to assess needs and to assit in developing semi-complex patient care plans. Administers medications and assists providers in administering treatments and diagnostic tests.
Monitors intravenous therapeutic treatments. Takes vital signs and evaluates patient care. Reports significant changes in patients conditions or affect to appropriate providers.
Assists with or implements corrective measures as directed during adverse patient development. Maintains current, accurate and complete records of nursing observations and care. Responds to patient inquiries, complaints and routine service requests.
Attends in-service training and continuing education program. Performs related nursing duties as assigned.

Associate Degree required
2 years of related experience required
Current Maryland state licensure as a Registered Nurse required.
AHA Healthcare Provider
Possible exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials with little likelihood of harm if established health precautions are followed
