JOB SUMMARY Provides compassionate, culturally sensitive, holistic nursing care to patients in the hospital setting, supporting the nursing philosophy, primarily on the night shift.# May include weekends, holidays, and/or on-call hours.# # ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES # Utilizes the nursing process# and collaboration with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.# Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and State laws/practice act.# Documents according to standards of care. Initiates a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by Physician and/or hospital policy including patient and family instruction. This is a night shift RN position that needs to be filled. We are required to have 2 RN's on the night shift at all times, this will be a replacement for the requirement.
