Responsibilities

• Coordinates and implements care of patients within the OR under the direction of the OR Lead Nurse and the Director of Surgical Services.

• Prepares for surgical cases by reviewing resources and specific equipment guidelines.

• Follows established departmental plan for room preparation and room turnaround by assisting with cleaning OR suites in between surgical procedures and putting away surgical supplies and equipment.

Qualifications

Education:

• Must be a graduate of accredited School of Nursing

License(s)/Certification(s):

• Valid Registered Nurse License in the State of Iowa Health System
