Our client needs a Home Health RN based full-time in Nutley, NJ. The position requires distinct levels of nursing expertise and the ability to cover the Nutley, Kearny, Harrison, and surrounding areas.

The RN will be responsible for providing direct and indirect skilled, comprehensive nursing care for a variety of age and diagnostic groups. The nursing care will include preventive, therapeutic, and rehabilitative nursing. Key Responsibilities:

The role includes the use of strong interviewing techniques and effective communication. On a daily basis, the RN should observe patients' conditions and reactions, document every significant detail, and relay this information promptly to the healthcare team. They should also be prepared to respond to life-saving situations according to nursing standards. Required Qualifications: - Equipped with an Associate degree or higher and must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) certification/license in New Jersey (NJ).

• Possess a valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification/license.

• At least a year of experience in Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) and Home Health, and have a similar background in Burn Unit/Wound Clinic or Wound Care Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Spanish

• Possess any specialized professional certifications Working Hours: The tentative working hours are from 8:30a-4:30p and necessitates the incumbent to be available 1-2 Saturdays a month.
  
  This includes working one summer and one winter holiday to ensure ongoing patient care.
