Position/Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN), Hospice CareJob Number: 100200162 Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Newark, NJ 07101 Industry: Healthcare Job Category: Hospice Care Salary: $44.00 Per hour Job Overview: We are seeking a full-time Hospice RN to provide compassionate end-of-life care in Newark, NJ. This crucial role involves skilled nursing, creating a safe environment, and supporting patients and their families during terminal illness. Responsibilities: - Offer skilled nursing care tailored to individual patients and family units facing terminal illness.

• Independently manage comprehensive end-of-life care.

• Use the nursing process for planning and evaluating care.

• Implement preventive, therapeutic, and rehabilitative nursing interventions.

• Record vital signs and administer medications as directed.

• Provide patients and families with care instructions and support.

• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team.

• Report significant patient health changes to the right personnel.

• Maintain safe environments for patients and healthcare providers.

• Address learning needs and follow company policies.

• Complete documentation on time and recognize communication protocols. Ideal Candidate:

• Must have experience in Hospital (Med Surg), Hospice, Home Health, or Community Health.

• Candidates with specialties in Dermatology, OB/L&D, Urology, etc., will not be considered. Licensing and Education:

• Active New Jersey RN license required.

• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification is needed.

• Associate's degree preferred, with a focus on Community Health. Additional Application Requirements:

• Indicate if bilingual in Spanish.

• Provide RN license number. Work Schedule:

• Hours are from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with 1-2 Saturdays a month.

• Work includes one summer and one winter holiday. Benefits:
