Job Supervisory Responsibilities: Responsible for managing a broad range of staff members to ensure health center service levels are met.
This management position is responsible for executing the programmatic and clinical initiatives within the health center as agreed upon with the client. The RN Health Center Manager is the key point of contact for the Program Manager and responsible for the management of the day-to-day operations ensuring quality of care with efficiencies in a cost-effective manner. Additionally, the RN Health Center Manager is responsible for directing, coordinating, and supervising the delivery of health care. The HCM must be prepared to deal with evolving integrated health care delivery systems, technological innovations, an increasingly complex regulatory environment, restructuring of work, and more emphasis on preventive care.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Oversees the overall management of the health center. Manages daily operations, workflows, staffing schedules, time card monitoring, etc.
Identifies process improvement opportunities and presents resolutions and recommendations.
Understands and complies with all regulatory, procedural, policy and licensing requirements.
Provides a high amount of time dedicated to patient care.
Manages and monitors all daily operational processes in the health center.
Works collaboratively with the Provider(s).
Compiles input for the performance appraisal process for staff members.
Manages health center staff and responsible for the performance management of staff members.
Coaches and provides feedback to staff on a regular basis.
Communicates regularly with staff, conducts meetings and keeps the staff informed.
May interact with client representatives as required.
Responsible for supply and pharmacy inventory management and replacement ordering.
Provides input to the Program Manager for staff recruitment and other staffing decisions.
Other duties as assigned.
Education: BSN or other clinical degree strongly preferred.
Licensure/Registration/Certification: Current state license as a Registered Nurse or other clinical license as required by state. Current BLS/CPR certification.
Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of clinical experience with business/management responsibilities strongly preferred. RN experience preferred.
