Tennova Healthcare-Cleveland has an opening for an RN in our Labor & Delivery department!

Labor & Delivery, Full-Time (Days)
POSITION PURPOSE
The Registered Nurse shall be responsible for planning, supervision and evaluation the nursing care of patients and for correlation of the nursing process, the medical plan of care and policies.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing as evidenced by verification of state licensure.
Must provide diploma or transcripts upon hire.
Experience:
Two years of experience in a hospital or medical environment. Must demonstrate knowledge and skills appropriate to the age of the patients.
Licenses/Certificates:
Current Tennessee or Compact State registered nurse license required.
Possess current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
Possess current NRP certification (for new hires, must obtain within 1 yr)
Complete Fetal Monitoring Course (within 6 months of hire)
ACLS certification (required within 6 months of assignment to department)

Under the direction of full-time, board-certified neonatologists, our specially trained neonatal team provides around-the-clock individualized care to babies with additional needs in our Level II Special Care Nursery.
