Bluffton Regional Medical Center is looking for Registered Nurses (RN), to work in our Women's Center OB department! You will evaluate assigned patients and plans, implementing and documenting nursing care.

Your role will include assisting physicians during examinations and procedures, performing various patient tests and administering medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Additionally, you will promote patients' independence by establishing patient care goals, teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.

As an RN in the Women's Center OB department, you will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, and perform a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically the RN reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Position details: Full-time -.9 FTE (36 hours per week); Night shift; Welcome Bonus eligible

  • Requires an associate's degree and is certified as a registered nurse. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Weekend Supervisor- RN Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Provide direct nursing care to the residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. * Such supervision must be in accordance with current Federal, State, and Local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may also be required by the Director of Nursing to maintain the highest degree of quality care at all times. * Confirm that all nursing personnel assigned to you comply with the written policies and procedures established by this facility. * Meet with your assigned nursing staff, as well as support personnel, in planning the shift's services, programs and activities. Job Requirements: * Registered Nurse with required current state licensure. * Minimum of one (1) year related nursing experience. * Must have a current/active CPR certification. * Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
