The Registered Nurse (RN) utilizes the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification/planning, implementation and evaluation to facilitate patient centered care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. The nursing process forms the foundation of the nurse's decision-making.
The nursing process is cyclical and may require simultaneous application of process elements. The RN is adaptable and may be required to work in various settings throughout the clinic, primarily within their pod of departments, but could require occasional floating to other pods as well.
EDUCATION: Nursing degree (ADN, Diploma, BSN, MSN) from an accredited school of nursing.
