RN First Assistant - Full Time, Day Shift

Under the direct supervision of the operating surgeon, the RNFA functions during the intra-operative phase by directly assisting the surgeon in controlling bleeding, providing wound exposure, suturing and other surgical tasks utilizing nursing and medical functions. The RNFA assists the surgeon in providing the patient with a safe operative experience.

Required qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Successful completion of an accredited RNFA course And

• Coursework/Training: Completion of established hours/cases of program

• Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

• 3 years Experience scrubbing and circulating as a RN in the operating room.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree Nursing
