The University of Maryland Medical Center is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) with a desire to join our premier multidisciplinary team in our Shock Trauma Center Multitrauma IMC 6 Unit. Located at the University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) in downtown Baltimore near the Inner Harbor and Camden Yards; you won't find a more vibrant place to work!
One of 14 units in the world renowned R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. Challenging care of the most critically ill patients in Maryland who have sustained Multi-system traumatic injuries.
Patients are transitioned from Mutitrauma Critical Care to this separate Multitrauma IMC 6 Unit once more stable. Multitrauma IMC 6 has been awarded the AACN's Beacon Award

What You Need to Be Successful:
Prior RN acute patient care, telemetry, IMC or trauma experience required
Nursing Graduates positions are very limited--must have completed a Sr practicum in IMC, ICU or trauma or worked as a student Nurse or PCT in same area as above.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred;
Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland, or eligible to practice due to compact state requirements outlined by the Maryland Board of Nursing
