Luke's Health Emergency Room-Huntsville, a department of St.

Luke's Health-The Woodlands Hospital, brings quality emergency services from the Texas Medical Center to patients in the Huntsville, Livingston, and Walker County communities. Our ER in Huntsville is located near Sam Houston State University and Sam Houston National Forest and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Responsibilities

With our combined resources, we are committed to building healthy communities, advocating for those who are poor and vulnerable, and innovating how and where healing can happen, both inside our hospitals and out in the community. In this role, your patients will be critically ill or unstable following extensive injury, surgery, or life threatening diseases. Our nurses wear many hats daily from patient advocate to family advisor and, in some cases, even friend.

Emergency Department RN Role:

• Patience and focus to constantly monitor high acuity setting

• Proven ability to think and react quickly in critical situations

• Provide care before, during and after emergencies

• Proficiency with telemetry / cardiac Monitoring

• Passion for excellence in delivering quality care

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma

Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas

BLS with skills demonstration

One year RN expereince

Preferred Qualifications:

One (1) year of RN experience Emergency Room

Bachelors in Nursing Preferred
