The Director of Inpatient Rehab is responsible for the oversight and management of the Acute Rehabilitation Department.?? Assesses, plans and implements processes relating to patient evaluation and treatment.?? Responsible for directing and coordinating the financial management, operational control, referral development activities and the clinical performance of the program.?? Evaluates, coaches, and disciplines the employees according to the general personnel policies of the hospital.?? Works with administration and department heads to achieve the goals of the program.?? Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.?? Other related duties as assigned. Essential Job Duties:

Directs referral development efforts to achieve volume targets Establishes clinical performance targets an direct staff to achieve the goals Develops and interprets department policies and procedures Provides professional and technical guidance and confers with medical staff as appropriate Maintains documentation and prepares reports of departmental activities Provides resources and education for staff to stay current in the field to able to demonstrate program strategies and interventions that are based on current research, peer-reviewed scientific and health related publication clinical practice guidelines and Assures availability and functioning of supplies and equipment Manages patient care services within the hospital setting and within an integrated delivery system Keeps current with regulations pertinent to the successful management of the program and communicates changes to staff an Administration Maintains knowledge of standards of care for population served Maintains accurate records Develops and maintains excellent physician/staff professional relationships Oversees marketing efforts to ensure budgeted census volume is met Utilizes resources efficiently and effectively Maintains safe environment Addresses patient population-specific needs Participates in Performance Improvement activities Bachelor?s degree in health related or human services area from an accredited college or university required Master?s Degree in clinical discipline, Health Care Administration, or Business from an accredited college or university preferred 5 years as clinician or with 3 years managing healthcare professionals required Previous experience managing an acute rehab or similar unit preferred Specialty or Administration Certification desired BLS-Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network required SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS [note: bold skills and certification are required] Bachelors Degree RN License 5 years experience as a clinician 3 years managing healthcare professionals BLS Security Clearance Required: No Visa Candidate Considered: No

Inspects, services, repairs and overhauls physical plant equipment as directed. Duties are performed in relation with patient and employee safety. Enhances the patient/employee experience by maintaining and improving the environment. Qualifications * At the direction of the Director of Plant Operations, assists with maintenance, monitoring, and performance of preventive maintenance on all equipment including, but not limited to, refrigeration, heat exchanger, HVAC, electrical, emergency backup electrical systems and hot water systems * Monitors operation, adjusts, and maintains refrigeration, chilled water, and air conditioning equipment; boilers, and ventilating and hot water heaters; pumps, valves, piping and filters; other mechanical and electrical equipment; record readings and make adjustments where necessary to ensure proper operation of equipment. * Requires the ability to analyze the operation of various systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions and take corrective action as required. * Assist with the installation and repair plumbing/piping/tubing; wire single and three phase motors * Install and rebuild pumps and motors; install and rebuild air compressors; heat exchangers; replace bearings in all types of motors; replace seals on pumps; install and repair piping, valves, filters, hot water systems and associated controls; assist other mechanics and operators with major repairs and maintenance of building and equipment. * Install, repair, and maintain electrical controls, switching and motor controls * Troubleshoots and performs minor repairs to secondary electrical circuits, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, utility and refrigeration systems * Monitor operation, repair, and maintain refrigeration, water cooling and air conditioning equipment; boilers, heating, ventilating and hot water equipment; pumps, valves, piping and filters; other mechanical and electrical equipment; recording readings as necessary to assure proper operation of equipment; responsible for reporting any problems/malfunctions * Comply with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials. * Maintains a clean and safe workplace. * Performs additional duties as requested.
